Accreditation

We invite journalists, photographers, radio and TV stations to come to Lenzerheide for their coverage. Media accreditation is open until Sunday, December 19, 2021

Attention: All media representatives have to show a negative PCR test not older than 72h at the accreditation on site. This applies independently of the Swiss Covid certificate requirement. A Swiss Covid certificate is not enough to obtain accreditation. If no valid PCR test can be presented, accreditation will be denied. This requirement is based on the Covid-19 Testing Protocol of the FIS. We thank you for the understanding.

Registration FIS Passport

In the 2021/22 world cup season, media representatives must also register via FIS Passport and deposit their Covid 19 certificates there. This simplifies the verification of the documents as well as the accreditation process on site. Without registration in the FIS Passport tool, accreditation will be denied.

Covid-19

For media representatives, the FIS Covid-19 Media Guidelines must be followed.

Here is the most important information:

  • Media representatives must follow the FIS Covid-19 Testing Protocol. See accreditation.

  • In all media areas - especially in the media center and in the mixed zone - masks are mandatory. Media representatives are responsible for organizing their own masks.

  • Media will not be able to have direct access to athletes, competition areas or team zones – except Mixed Zone. However, in the Mixed Zone there is a fence between the media representatives and athletes. Bringing an extended microphone stick is recommended.

  • Athletes will wear masks everywhere except in the finish area. This also applies to the leader boards, live interviews and the mixed zone. At no time should a journalist ask an athlete to remove his/her mask.

  • There will be no physical media conferences. If necessary, the FIS will conduct online press conferences via Zoom, where media representatives can ask questions.
